being bald is FANTASTIC
although I’d recommend waiting till summer.
John Stuart asked me to shave my head once and I considered it… But yeah it’s too damn cold out for that right now.

Adventures in printing Part 2. It’s really long because there’s no easy way to explain these things. Today we look at some printing terms and how to size your files for print! Part 1 (Colourspace) here.

Yeah, I’m really glad I leaned all of this before going to college. It makes things a lot easier. I didn’t even really read it. I just skimmed it and thought “this looks helpful”.

Happy Valentine’s Day!
I really hope you can appreciate the blood sweat and tears that went into finishing this by the 14th. Painting the same thing 16 times is.. fatiguing. But I’m pretty happy with the result, so I guess it was worth it. It was very experimental mixing my portrait painting with animation. I may do more in the future but if so they will definitely have less frames cause damn. Also this is actually a bit bigger, you can see the full size here (x).

I don’t watch Dr. Who but this is some beautiful animation.

hey guys, it’s a B-roll of the Lego Movie, good luck not laughing your ass off
also at the end it shows their rigs, their face rig setup (which emulates each face being cutely traditionally animated), what animation looks like before the frames are selectively cut/cropped out so as to make it look like stop motion, and the AWESOME water simulation!!
