Simon Stålenhag is an artist based in the countryside outside of Stockholm, Sweden. He has worked on a variety of projects, ranging from films, commercials and book covers to art directing and concepting for video games.
Simon Stålenhag’s retro-Scandinavian sci-fi images have been wildfire across the internet in the last few years. Now - not only is his first artbook coming in English for the first time - with your help, we will publish a brand new second book as well, continuing his amazing story. With this Kickstarter we are seeking funds for two lavishly produced art books with homegrown sci-fi from Sweden. Spent the day soaking in storytelling tips at the #taafi masterclass with Josh Cooley for Inside Out. Super insightful and really beautiful movie go check it out for sure if you get a chance . Putting as much of it into #ANANSI as I can more soooon
