Art Student Meme
God I feel that “no money for art supplies/uses found materials”one. One month during my first year at MCAD I could barely afford food and all I ate for most of my meals was popcorn (and whatever my friends would give me)… I had to finish a 3D Foundations sculpture project and had no materials so I made my sculpture out of popcorn. I got an A.
Most of these describe me.

Comics bud Zac Gorman began putting together a Frasier zine a while ago. Progress is slow-going, but I talked to him and he said it would be cool to share my comic so here you go.
Oh wow

Zac Gorman And Friends’ ‘Tossed Salad & Scrambled Eggs’ Frasier Zine Can’t Come Fast Enough
Thanks to Netflix, an entire generation has had the opportunity to binge-watch Frasier, the 11-season Kelsey Grammer-starring Cheer‘s spinoff set in Seattle that chronicled the radio call-in show hosting, café-crawling sitcommery of Dr. Frasier Crane. A sample of this binge-watching population, of course, has been a vanguard of comics talent, including Nedroid‘s Anthony Clark, Gunshow‘s K.C. Green and many more. So it’s only fitting that I’ve spent the past 10 months or so stoked to see more of Magical Game Time creator Zac Gorman‘s upcoming Tossed Salad And Scrambled Eggs zine, which could very well pack tons of oddball Frasier homages into a package — just miles of Niles, man.
So far all we’ve seen from the zine is a teaser image of its Tintin-inspired cover by Olly Moss and one hilariously Lovecraftian comic strip by Brandon B entitled “Niles Crane: Blood King.” Both are fantastic.

Bat/Scorpian spirit demon thingy. WIP rough animation for one of the generic baddies of the game. It’s on 8s and I kinda like the wing movement, but the tail is too quick. I’ll try it on 12s and/or shorten the tail movement.
It’s on 2s at the moment and I’m not sure but, if it’s for a moving game, I’m thinking everything needs to be on 1s because of the camera movement. Still trying to figure animation for games out.
Once i lock down this guys face design it’ll be onto clean up and colour. I’ll post some of the designs soon.

I think [Will] needed it, because there was so much despair, and everybody was just assuming he was guilty of all of these crimes. I think he needed someone to say simply, “I believe you.” When I was writing that scene [where Bedelia visits Will] I teared up, because something so simple as someone saying, “I understand you, and I believe you,” when you’re in a dark, lonely place is such a beacon of hope. I love Gillian Anderson as a human being and as an actress. And I love Hugh Dancy as a human being and as an actor, so I was excited to get them in a scene together, especially one that was so still and eerie and wrought.
I’ve always been inspired by this line from Damaged that Juliette Binoche says, which is, “Damaged people are dangerous, because they know they can survive,” and I paraphrased that in the last scene with Dr. Du Maurier and Will Graham, where there is a camaraderie in the damaged. You may feel you are alone in your damage, because it is such an interior experience to be damaged in that way, and then to have somebody come along who you know can know you in that way, it’s a beautiful thing. It’s a glimmer of hope. So I was really excited about that moment, writing it, and even more excited when I saw the actors perform it, because I do think that there is a bond between Will and Bedelia that I hope we get to explore.
