Lightaber Escape is a fun game (and impressive technical achievement) that allows you to use your phone as a lightsaber to deflect laser blasts and attack Stormtropers on your PC screen (or any device with a browser).
You don’t have to install anything on your PC or download any apps on your phone, you just need a to load up the website, load up the specified URL on the browser of your (motion sensitive) mobile device, and enjoy some saber swinging fun!
Askagamedev linked me this the other day!! It was pretty neat.
Be prepared to make a lot of internal jokes to yourself involving the word “calibration”.

if you don’t have it in you the comic stores are FILLED with great comics, the theaters are FILLED with great movies, the video games this season are MWAH. treat yourself to a little you time. transport yourself.

Tumblr has a hard time accepting that just because you face a heavier set of problems than someone else, that, that doesn’t mean their problems are meaningless.
Everyone has problems and trying to one up everyone to try and make it look like you have it worse, is terrible.
Everyone has something going on, and everyone’s problem matters, even if their problem doesn’t look like a problem to you.

the amount of shits tumblr doesnt give about its artist base is so enfuriating like. come on guys. the most common things you see nowadays are like
- an artist whos gaining popularity recently gets some callout post for some problematic thing they did like two years ago
- an artist slips up a few times and next thing you know theres multiple blogs entirely revolving around talking shit on them and/or gathering every single solitary thing theyve slightly done wrong in their entire existence online
- putting “i dont ship this but…” or “this would be better with…” in the tags and/or comments section of fanart
- reposting without permission
- using without sourcing
- when they do something morally wrong they’re stamped with the PROBLEMATIC label and thrown under the bus faster than they can even apologize or realize what they did wrong
- being called selfish/vain when they ask people not to use their art
- being told fanart isnt “real art”
- more stuff i cant even remember right now
like its gotta stop im so sick and tired of it. these people dont have to be posting art on here but theyre choosing to and the amount of artists on tumblr is dwindling out of fear of being deemed as a bad person. there’s a difference between genuinely problematic people and artists who make mistakes and the line between them has got to start being recognized

I write and draw Lemon Inc., a comic about a seven-year-old who wants to be a business tycoon when he grows up. Until then, he runs a lemonade stand. You can read it at www.lemon-inc.com.
