A weird thing I find incredibly helpful for art/writing.
Eplans.com is a website that sells blueprints for houses.
This might not seem that helpful but if you want a characters house you can make selections based on what sort of house you want them to live in.
Then browse through the results and find the house you want. Then you can view the blueprints and have a room layout for that house, which can help with visualising the space they live in.
It makes describing generic homes so much easier.
thank you

the phrase “curiosity killed the cat” is actually not the full phrase it actually is “curiosity killed the cat but satisfaction brought it back” so don’t let anyone tell you not to be a curious little baby okay go and be interested in the world uwu
See also:
Blood is thicker than waterThe blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb.Meaning that relationships formed by choice are stronger than those formed by birth.
Let’s not forget that “Jack of all trades, master of none” ends with “But better than a master of one.”
It means that being equally good/average at everything is much better than being perfect at one thing and sucking at everything else. So don’t worry if you’re not perfect at something you do! Being okay is better!
These made me feel better
Also, “great minds think alike” ends with “but fools rarely differ”
It goes to show that conformity isn’t always a good thing. And that just because more than one person has the same idea, doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a good idea.
what the fuck why haven’t i heard the full version to any of these
“Birds of a feather flock together” ends with “until the cat comes.”
It’s actually a warning about fair-weather friends, not an assessment of how complementary people are.
I’ve always felt like these were cut down on purpose.
I really like these phrases and plan on spreading this knowledge.
The early bird catches the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.
I want to make designs out of these.
Funny how all the half-finished ones encourage uniformity and upholding the status-quo, while the complete proverbs encourage like…living exciting, eclectic lives driven by choice and personal passion.
NICE
One bad apple will spoil the bunch.

draw stick figures. sing off key. write bad poems. sew ugly clothes. run slowly. flirt clumisly. play video games on easy. you do not need to be good at something to enjoy the act. talent is overrated. do things you like doing. it’s ok to suck
jesus christ yall dont play video games on easy oh my god
You never play a video game on easy no matter how hard it is to get through.
my least favorite thing that happens on this post is people who support it- except when it comes to the thing they’re good at
gamers say “never play on easy”
artists say “sing off key but for the love of god no stick figures”
singers say “all this but if you can’t sing keep your mouth shut”
you know what? i know your type. you’re all jerks & you’re not fun to be around.
have fun jacking off to the concept of superiority at your wet blanket convention. i’ll be over here actually enjoying myself
I am an artist but I think people should draw stick figures. They are actually a crucial building block of any more complex figure drawing. They can also just be cute and nice on their own.

OK to make a font out of your own writing
I JUST GOT THIS ON MY TABLET IT’S SO COOL OH MY GOD
go here
instead of printing it off just use this blank thing that way you dont have to scan it or anything
so fill that out by pasting it in any art program and whatnot
then save it and upload it to that site
and itll give you an option to download it
so do that and then install it BAM
for some reason it refused to recognize the third page of my letters but they were all pretty unnecessary mathematic things anyway so I’m not too worried. still something to keep in mind though, I hope it doesn’t happen for you!
paintfont.com would be a good place to go to quickly make a custom font for your comic!
@ashyruee this is your chance to shine & become famous for your A+ handwriting
@heysaba Remember when I told you your handwriting was amazing 👀
omg thanks!!!

Apparently the creator of Pepe the Frog has just killed him off in a comic because he’s so upset by his use as a white supremacist symbol. Open casket and everything.
This is hilarious, yeah, but reading Matt Furie’s explanation is weirdly heartbreaking. He’s clearly emotionally invested in Pepe and finds him a meaningful expression of himself…
“The characters in ‘Boy’s Club’ will always be a part of me. Andy the wise guy, Landwolf the party animal, Brett the fashionable dancer, and Pepe the chill frog — they are all tweaked reflections of my own values and sensibilities. Their personalities unfolded and blossomed as time went on, but just like the person in your life that you love the most, one day they will die. And death can be as beautiful as life, because it’s what makes life important.”
damn dude I’m sorry the Internet turned your stoner frog son evil
sorry for the poor image quality - i’m standing in my bedroom photographing this strip from my phone!
even though it’s very tongue-in-cheek i have a hard time laughing at it… i guess because it’s every (decent) creator’s nightmare that something that represents a part of them will get turned into some kind of hate symbol
this is a compilation i picked up for free comics day - and i did it because furie was listed on the cover. he seems like a really nice guy. it’s worth noting before this, he tried his best to “reclaim” pepe, soliciting positive, non-nazi-affiliated drawings of him from anyone on the internet who wanted to submit one. but i think the symbolism has gotten away from him at this point, and he probably feels he can’t erase the baggage that has been attached to it. it’s a huge bummer and i feel bad for him
